Tournament Play The Speed Slice tournament is a single game elimination tournament (if you lose, you are eliminated). All players are matched up in a bracket with the top returning players from the previous year eligible for a 1st round bye (if possible). In the semi-final round (final four), the tournament turns into a best-of-three games match (you must win 2 games to advance), and the championship game is a best-of-five.
